I'm having some trouble figuring out how to create a new forward direction in the world matrix of a body. Basically what I want is for the object I'm controlling to have a new forward direction when I rotate it. Right now I move the object using this code:
force.Z += 80.0f;
force.Z -= 80.0f;
I can rotate the object fine, but it still just moves forward or backward on the original axis, instead of moving in the new direction I rotate it. I know how to transform a direction by a rotation matrix - I'm just not sure how to get the JigLibX object to recognize this as the new forward direction.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
