When run on a P4 2.8Ghz (I know - it's old), the boxes in scene 1 of the JigLibX BETA game bounce rhythmically as they fall down, until they freeze. Am I correct in guessing, that because it seems to happen about once per second it is due to garbage collection?
As another example, if I stack four boxes in a dip of terrain then let some spheres roll against the stack, the spheres stop the boxes from freezing (for quite a long time) and the stack of boxes bounces the whole time.
The only thing I can think of to improve this is to increase the rate at which objects freeze. Perhaps the PhysicsSystem should give more user control over how quickly the freezing occurs. I'd be happy to sacrifice realism for a performance boost. I noticed a commented method Body.DampForDeactivation() which seems to be an attempt at this suggestion.
Any hints on how to lower the freezing threshold?
