I'm just starting using JigLibX. I'm trying to get a wing working; it has a shoulder joint and an elbow joint, both modeled as hinges. Currently, the upper arm is immovable; its orientation is directly set with some transformation matrices for a flap cycle. The forearm section is attached to the upper arm.
My problem is that the upper arm bounces on its hinge joint. I have limited the maximum extent of the hinge joint, and, sometimes, the forearm bounces off this limit. It looks very strange. I have a suspicion that some form of damping would be applicable, but I can find no place to set damping anywhere!
