Hi guys, I have a problem with my XNA Project.
let's say I have a player (Box) moving around a 3D map (TriangleMesh),
i want to add some code so the player would be able to jump, so I know i need to add velocity towards UP direction
but I want the player to jump only when touching the floor,(checking collosion of player with map is not
a good idea since the player will be able to jump when touching walls).
How do i check whether the player hits the floor or not?
And another little question, how should i build the player? sphere for head and boxes for body parts?
it does make sense to me, but i don't know how to Create joints. simple joints code would be appriciated.
