Just a quick one.
I have a small object that moves at a decent speed and collides with other objects.
(to scale it is a sphere with a radius of 5cm and moves at speeds up to 140KPH and collides with objects 3cm thick)
It seems that any speeds above around 130kph can result in collisions being missed and the sphere passing through the other objects. I thought about Just setting the max speed to 130kph however this is visibly to slow for the purpose. Would increasing the size of everything (increasing the scale) help? I guess not because as the scale increases the speed would need to increase to give the same impression of speed to?
So what is the best way to go when you need a high speed small object and collision is important?
There must be a way as people use JigLibx for bullets. I guess the difference here is that I can't simply use a callback and say when true reset sphere to previous position because my sphere doesn't 'die' like a bullet does once collision detected - the deflection of the sphere after collision is important.
