using a controller how do i make an object stop in mid air and be able to move or rotate a little, and then stop again?
Hey, you again ! :)
This could, i think, be solve be implementing some sort of drag… Just check out Drag on wikepedia. For sure, you can use a simpler equations with the basis being a opposite force of velocity, something like: (-body.Velocity * DragFactor)
Or, depending on the effect you want, maybe disabling the body and changing its position and orientation could do it too.
Hope to help you again…
thank you for the post. I kinda got a little formula working before I read your post (worldForce += body.Mass * -body.Velocity) it seems to do the job
Is there anyway to set a "Drag" or "Friction" property of an object in Jiglibx? without having to figure out a drag formula? i mean i could but setting a property would be so much more simple.
